"We all live busy, stressful, overwhelming lives and often feel like we just can’t get off the hamster wheel long enough to feel present, connected to those around us, and healthy from the inside out. Though this is common, it doesn’t have to be this way. Many of us either weren’t role modelled anything different or simply a matter of not having the skills or awareness to recognize that there is another way you can be moving through your life. I believe mindfulness is the answer to everything; whether you’re sitting in traffic or dealing with cancer, it’s all about how you respond, rather than react to whatever is that is arising in the moment. Reactions are normal; responses are cultivated."
 
This is the story of how Joree Rose came to be a mindfulness practitioner, and therapist.

Joree Rose, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, mindfulness and meditation teacher, coach, author, speaker, and she also leads mindfulness retreats around the world. Joree has helped thousands of people to live happier and more fulfilling lives through living with greater awareness and compassion, allowing them to decrease their stress, anxiety and shed unhealthy habits, patterns and mindsets.
